According to the authorities, a teenager from California who turned himself into police and admitted that he has molested around 50 kids in the past few years in Southern California.
Police arrested an 18-years-old California teen boy named Joseph Hayden Boston on Saturday, he was charged with assaulting two Riverside boys at a motel.
A spokesman for Riverside police station, Officer Ryan Railsback said, Boston’s mother brought him to the police station about 3 a.m. Saturday, after he told his mother that he had allegedly sexually assaulted two boys, ages 4 and 8, at a motel. Boston’s mother said that she wanted to turn her 18-year-old son Boston in for suspected molestation.
Police said, “He also admitted to molesting upward of 50 children since he was 10 years old in different cities where he lived.”
After his confession, the investigation detectives are seeking other victims.
Police said, “The suspect called his mother and said he had molested two young children earlier.” Police added, “She drove to her son’s location and took him to the police station, where he later confessed the acts to officers.”
The parents of those victims children allowed their kids to go to Boston’s room. In addition, they were staying at the same motel as him.
After living in Lakewood and Buena Park, Boston checked into the motel in Riverside last month.
Police arrested him on suspicion of two counts of oral copulation on children under the age of 10, Boston is being held on $1 million bail and jailed.
Police said that those two children were turned over to the Riverside County Child Protective Services.
According to the KABC-TV, Riverside Officer Ryan Railsback said, “This is going to affect not only the victims for a long time, but also our detectives and officers involved in this — to hear someone just be very open about what they’ve done, and they’re only 18 themselves.”
