In the era of technology, the biggest problem that we are facing today is climate change. The rapid increase in the temperature is taking the natural habitats towards their extinction. According to a new report which recently published said that the extinction of the human civilization is near and is likely to end by 2050. One of the reasons behind the increasing climate change is the emission of greenhouse gasses. The vast use of greenhouse gasses is leading to rapid climate change and the rise in the temperature of our planet.
When the greenhouse gasses expose to the atmosphere, it gets trapped in the layer of our atmosphere which disturbs the passage of the solar light. The study was recently published by Australian think tank the Breakthrough National Centre for Climate Restoration which said that if we do not control the emission of greenhouse gasses, the human species and other species will end within the next 30 years. If the emission of the greenhouse gasses continues at the same rate it is now, scientists and other researchers believe that the temperature will rise by 3 degree Celsius which will definitely disturb the ecosystem and will lead to “a high likelihood of human civilization coming to an end.”
According to the report’s central “2050 scenario”, the rise in climate change will force more than one billion people to leave their places and move to other places as people will suffer from less supply of food. Due to climate change, it will be hard for the crops to grow in a different habitat because crops need a specific atmosphere to grow which will not be possible due to the climate change. The author of the report claims, “This scenario provides a glimpse into a world of ‘outright chaos’ on a path to the end of human civilization and modern society as we have known it, in which the challenges to global security are simply overwhelming and political panic becomes the norm.”
