So, it was the occasion of Independence Day, when the whole of America was celebrating the annual occasion, there were two people who were in the outer space and were wishing Independence Day from up there and to be honest, it was one of the best messages on a holiday ever. No matter where a person is staying, the love for the country is always there in the hearts.

The astronauts from NASA, Christina Koch, and Nick Hague showed their love from 250 miles above the Earth. They posted a video in which they were wearing their best red, white and blue gear to film their video. The microphone is also visible in the video, floating around in the absence of gravity. Koch and Hague have been up there since the month of March. “As we orbit our planet high above you, we want to take a moment and wish all Americans, at home and around the world, a very happy Fourth of July,” Koch said.

Koch also shared a picture of the Earth from the space and wished everyone on the 4th of July. The astronauts in the space wished everyone via Twitter and praised American “grit, determination and imagination” in pushing scientific boundaries, the two also said it is an exciting time for spaceflight in America. “From the completion of the first flight in the commercial crew program to the unveiling of the bold plan to send the first woman and the next man to the moon by 2024, this is a unique moment in history in which we can cast our eyes to the sky and to the heavens and be proud to be an American,” Hague said. Talking about the US Independence Day, the 4th of July was day back in 1776 when America got free from Great Britain. The event actually took place on July 2, when the Second Continental Congress voted for the approval of the resolution of the independence. The order came into power after two days which was 4th of July and the now the date is celebrated as the independence day of the United States.

The American independence day is celebrated with a lot of fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts in which a lot of celebrities perform, family reunions, and a lot of political speeches and ceremonies. People celebrate the day with a lot of joy and even organize public and private events in which they celebrate the history, government and other traditional practices of the United States.

Independence Day is also known as the National Day of the United States. Independence Day is the national holiday and is normally celebrated outside the homes and offices in which a lot of people take part. People even gather for a week-long celebration with relatives and friends. People use decorations such as balloons, streamers, and wear different clothes and generally colored red, white, and blue, the colors of the American flag. Prades take place in the morning and after that, the families get together and spend time while fireworks take place in the evening after dark at places such as parks, fairground, or town squares.
