The latest report of a scientist going to launch himself inside a self-made rocket to prove Earth is flat has excited conspiracy theorists and flat-Earth believers. They are now happy that at least one of them has started the initiative to practically prove that earth is flat and not round. On Saturday, 61-year limo driver Mike Hughes is going to launch himself to a height of around 1,800 feet in a rocket that he has built himself by using spares present in his garage as well as in other shops.
If latest reports were to be believed then, the rocket has not been tested yet, and Hughes is going to the first test of the rocket on its launch that. That means he is directly going to fly with the rocket without any prior testing. Really this person is crazy as well as interesting at the same time. He has no official degree or work experience in the field of science and research, but he is absolutely a self-made scientists whole loves to explore and experiment new things.
By announcing the Saturday’s launch event, he is actually risking his life, and he is doing all these things just prove that that Earth is flat and all the conspiracy theories related to it are true. Majority of the astronomers and astronomers claim that Earth is round but Hughes wants to challenge them and through his launch towards the atmosfalt he wants to show everybody that their conspiracy theories that describe Earth to be totally flat are not a hoax but are justified with evidence. Hughes told the Associated Press that his journey into the atmosflat would mark the first phase of his ambitious flat Earth program.
According to Hughes, he is going to launch himself in his self-made rocket on Saturday from Amboy, a ghost town in the Mojave Desert and during his flight, he is going to move across the historic 66. When he will reach to an altitude of nearly one mile, the two parachutes fitted with his self-made rocket will open up, and after that, he will land on Earth. According to him, going to nearly 1800 feet long flight through the Mojave Desert with a super speed of over 500mph might prove to be risky but won’t kill him. Support his thought about the risky journey, Hughes said, “If you’re not scared to death, you’re an idiot. It’s scary as hell, but none of us are getting out of this world alive. I like to do extraordinary things that no one else can do, and no one in the history of mankind has designed, built and launched himself in his own rocket.” He does not believe in science and sees no difference between science and science fiction.
He stated, “I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air, about the certain size of rocket nozzles, and thrust. But that’s not science, that’s just a formula”. Coming to the self-made rocket, Hughes built the rocked by spending just $20, 000 which is a great achievement and can help in making cheaper rockets in future. The spare parts used in the rocket include aluminum for a metal shop, nuts and bolts from his garage, an aircraft filter to make the rocket nozzle and a motor home that he purchased on Craigslist. Later he converted it into a ramp. Hughes believes that nothing is unachievable in this world and said, “Anything can be done if a person puts enough thought, time and money into it.”He said that he wants to inspire others and for that one needs to do something incredible to get anybody’s attention.
